Senior Personal Advisor CWD and Complex Support, Care Leavers Service

We are further expanding our service and are recruiting a Senior Personal Advisor who will be supporting our care experienced young people with additional and complex needs as they transition into adulthood. We are looking for applicants who share our passion for delivering the very best support to our care experienced young people in meeting their aspirations and realising their full potential.

In this role you will:

  • You will support young people 16-25 with additional and complex needs to develop and achieve their ambitions and potential through successful engagement in education, training and employment.
  • You will undertake regular visits and work collaboratively with other PAs and young people and those supporting them within the framework of their pathway plan.
  • You will be take a leadership role in developing effective and collaborative partnership with our adult services and multi-agency interface.
  • You will be lead on delivering workshops across the service and provide reflective support focused on transitions to adult services.
  • You will work collaboratively as part of a supportive team along with adult social care, adult mental health and other relevant services in supporting transitions through high quality service for our young people with additional and complex needs.
  • You will be providing expertise and focus through group supervision to support and develop practice and our service delivery to young people with additional and complex needs.

Our Care Leavers Service is one of the nation’s biggest and supports care experienced young adults in their transition from care to adult living with varying levels of independence.

In this role your priority will be to develop partnership working and grow good practice to support and enable our care experienced young adults with additional and complex needs to realise their aspirations and ambitions and have a sense of feeling cared for, cared about, and with the right support to be able to care for themselves. Championing their voice as corporate parents is central to all that we do and achieve with them.
