Liverpool City Region Destination Partnership (LCRDP) is the Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) for the region. Owned by both Liverpool City Council and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, it is responsible for promoting the six Local Authority areas as a global destination for visitors, conferences and investment. Its remit includes communicating the city region’s brand positively and imaginatively to local, national and global audiences. Working with partners in business, cultural organisations, educational institutions and community groups it promotes Liverpool City Region (LCR) as a great place to live, work, visit, invest and study.

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to help us grow our reach, elevate our brand internationally and lead high‑impact campaigns that attract visitors, drive economic growth and strengthen our global reputation.

As Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our Marketing Strategy and leading a team of Campaign Managers. You’ll drive multi‑channel, insight‑led marketing activity that showcases Liverpool City Region’s culture, attractions, events and unique visitor offer.
You’ll work closely with local authorities, event organisers, digital teams, national tourism bodies, cultural institutions and a wide range of partners to deliver marketing that amplifies the region’s voice.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will shape the strategic direction of campaigns, manage budgets, nurture partnerships and bring fresh creative thinking to one of the UK’s most exciting city regions.
The role:
- Lead the development and delivery of multi-channel destination marketing campaigns that increase visitor numbers and brand impact.
- Collaborate with local authorities, the Combined Authority, Liverpool City Council and industry partners to coordinate marketing activity.
· Work with the digital team to plan and deliver insight-led campaigns across social, email, SEO, PPC and other digital channels.
Oversee content development including video, blogs, social media and event-led promotional materials.
Manage key stakeholder relationships including event organisers, tourism operators and cultural partners.
Monitor campaign performance using KPIs and analytics tools; provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Manage marketing budgets, ensuring value for money and strong ROI.
Represent LCRDP at industry events, conferences and trade shows.

Salary range
- £46,142 - £51,356 per year
