<p>You will be a creative, organised, and proactive Senior Marketing and Events Officer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. <h3>About the Team</h3>
<p>The Local Authority <a href="https://www.lafosteringse.org.uk/" target="_blank">Fostering South East</a> (LAFSE) is a dynamic and collaborative partnership of 17 local authorities, working together to promote fostering across the region. Our newly established regional recruitment hub, fully funded by the Department for Education for a further year, is at the heart of this initiative. You will work closely with theRegional Marketing Manager and partners across the South East to deliver a unified and effective marketing and events programme. This hybrid role is primarily home-based, with travel required to our Time Square offices in Bracknell 2–5 days per month and occasional visits to partner councils across the region.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>

<p>Support the delivery of the regional fostering recruitment and retention strategy in collaboration with the Regional Marketing Manager.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain and regularly update the LAFSE regional website to ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with campaign objectives.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage and grow the region’s social media presence by creating and scheduling posts, responding to engagement, and tracking performance.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Develop a variety of marketing materials, including graphics, videos, and written content for use across the partnership.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to source and deliver high-quality marketing assets.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Plan and coordinate regional and local fostering events that effectively promote fostering and reflect the regional strategy.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate with partners across the 17 councils to share best practices, campaign resources, and updates.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and events, using insights to inform future activity.</p>

<p>We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Regional Marketing Manager, who will lead powerful, results-driven campaigns to attract and retain foster carers across the Southeast. Your expertise will inspire a meaningful change, making a lasting impact on children's lives</p>
<p>This is a unique opportunity to spearhead regional marketing initiatives, working collaboratively with 17 South East Local Authorities to attract a diverse range of foster carers, including individuals from BAME, LGBTQ+, young carers and parent/child fostering backgrounds.</p>
<p>You will be instrumental in shaping the regional fostering recruitment strategy, ensuring a cohesive marketing approach while leveraging data-driven insights to optimise and enhance campaign effectiveness.</p>
<p>As the ideal candidate you will have:</p>
