
Senior Family Support Worker
Role: Reach Out - Senior Family Support Worker (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)

The Open up behaviour change programme is Redbridge Council’s in-house intervention for individuals who wish to address their abusive behaviours. In June 2022, Open Up became the first council-led, Respect-accredited programme. Our aim is to improve the safety, well-being, and freedom of victims/ survivors of domestic abuse by equipping those who use abuse with the knowledge and skills to address and change their behaviours.
We are looking for one full time Senior Family Support Worker to deliver the weekly group work programme. The Open Up Programme offers both group and/or one-to-one interventions depending on the level of risk, and we work with each client for 13 weeks. The Senior Family Support Worker will deliver both in person group work and one-to-one work virtually, and they will plan and record their sessions. The candidate will benefit from case supervision, clinical supervision by an external supervisor and regular treatment management support.
You will need to have experience working with perpetrators of domestic abuse or with service users with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour. You will receive relevant training, and you will be supported by our Perpetrator Specialist to develop your practice.

Salary range
- £40,182 - £42,060 per year
