Our SEND Service is looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior EHCP Coordinator to join our experienced team and help make a real difference for children, young people, and their families.
About the Role:
As a Senior EHCP Coordinator, you will play a critical role in leading and supporting high‑quality SEND practice across the service. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a complex caseload of Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments and plans, ensuring quality, timeliness, and lawful decision‑making
- Providing senior oversight, guidance, and mentoring to SEND Coordinators, supporting consistent and confident practice
- Leading on complex cases, escalations, and multi‑agency problem‑solving with families, schools, and partner agencies
- Contributing to service improvement through quality assurance, reflective practice, and performance oversight
- Working collaboratively across education, health, and social care to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND
About You:
You will be an experienced SEND professional with a strong commitment to collaborative, child‑centred practice. You will bring:
- Significant experience working within SEND, including EHC needs assessments and planning
- A strong understanding of SEND legislation, statutory processes, and best practice
- Proven ability to manage complex cases and make confident, lawful, and child‑focused decisions
- Experience of supporting, mentoring, or leading colleagues within a SEND or related service
- Excellent communication and partnership‑working skills with families, schools, and multi‑agency professionals
- A proactive, solution‑focused approach and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people
