    About the role

    To plan and deliver high quality outdoor learning and professional development sessions to young people, adults,families and businesses at Everdon Outdoor Learning Centre in a way that meets customer learning/activity aims, other customer and service needs and maximises health and wellbeing benefits.

    To act as team leader for the Education Rangers -developing and appraising in order to ensure they have the required skills, knowledge and support needed to carry out their roles effectively.

    To deputise for the Centre Manager as and when required.

    This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check.     Additional information

    We would love you to be enthusiastic and flexible and able to work independently and think on your feet. You will need to be resilient whilst having an approachable manner.

    You should have knowledge of outdoor and environmental learning techniques including risk assessment writing and be up to date with all child protection and sagefguarding policies.

    This role will include some office based work so you should have a good understanding of all Office 365 programmes particularly OneDrive & Teams.
