We are the first point of contact for most of our customers. Our aim is to provide excellent, customer focused and professional people into our Centre.
We are looking for energetic and ambitious candidate for a Senior Customer Services Officer position within our Customer Operations Team. This post is primarily for our Housing Advisory Telephone Service dealing with calls regarding Homelessness, Temporary Accommodation Enquiries, Repairs, Rent and liaising with the back office. The successful candidate will also assist with covering the General Enquiries Line and working on Webchat (Online services and Social Media) so this will help if you have experience with council services.
The candidate must also be comfortable with dealing with challenging calls and be able to navigate our web pages and have understanding and awareness of how to deal with complex enquiries. The candidate will also be assisting with supporting and training new members of staff.
The successful candidate will assist the Team Managers with offering advice and support at meetings to ensure smooth customer journey.
To be successful, we require that you match the following criteria.
- Ready to work between the hours of 9am -5.12pm Monday to Friday.
- Work at the Civic Centre twice a week (but may need to do more days if required) and working from home.
- Be able to give clear and concise information about our council services.
- Have a positive attitude toward customers.
- Will go the extra mile to help our customers and listen to their needs.
