We have a great opportunity for aSenior Commissioner on a full time, fixed-term basis for 24 months.

About you ...

As a Senior Commissioner you will have a minimum of two years’ commissioning experience, including experience in managing projects and developing strategies. With excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, you are confident liaising with and building relationships with a range of stakeholders including professionals across different organisations, and service users.

About the team…

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Commissioner to join an Integration Strategic Commissioning Team. We work closely with health partners and other key stakeholders to shape services to best meet the needs of Bracknell Forest residents and ensure value for money. The team manages a range of projects and contracts and oversees the development and delivery of a number of integrated strategies and action plans relating to specific client groups.

Key responsibilities…

  • To deliver a range of commissioning activities relating to all aspects of the commissioning cycle in a professional and effective way.
  • To undertake work that is highly complex in nature, across a range of activities and build strong professional relationships with all partners.
  • To lead on the development of key strategies across the partnership reflecting an integrated approach.
  • To provide expert advice and specialist support to senior managers, and colleagues throughout the council and partner organisations, forming strong relationships and acting as a trusted partner in relation to commissioning and strategic development of service areas.
  • To work flexibly between the Time Square office and home working, with some attendance at additional sites to meet stakeholders, including some evening meetings.
