Southwark Council uses communications campaigns to inform residents about services and encourage engagement with key initiatives.
The Communications team, within Strategy and Communities, leads the council’s approach to communications, campaigns, media relations and digital content. The team works across the organisation to ensure that council priorities are communicated clearly, residents can access information about services and initiatives, and communications activity supports meaningful engagement and impact.
We are looking for a Senior Campaigns Officer to support the planning and delivery of communications campaigns.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role you will:
- Support the development and delivery of campaign strategies.
- Produce communications materials across a range of channels.
- Work with services to develop campaign messaging and materials.
- Coordinate campaign activity and track delivery milestones.
- Monitor campaign performance and support reporting.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working in communications or campaign delivery.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Experience producing communications content across multiple channels.
- The ability to work collaboratively across teams.
