We’re looking for a dynamic, compassionate and forward thinking SEND Team Manager to drive high quality statutory SEND practice across Knowsley. This is your opportunity to shape better outcomes for children and young people, influence service improvement, and lead a talented, committed team.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership across all statutory SEND functions
  • Ensure EHC plans are timely, person centred and legally compliant
  • Inspire, coach and develop a high performing team
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, health and wider partners
  • Play a key role in SEND sufficiency planning and funding processes
  • Champion a positive, supportive culture that prioritises wellbeing
  • Represent the service with professionalism, integrity and impact

We’re seeking someone with:

  • Solid experience in SEND across Education, Social Care or Health
  • Strong collaborative skills and confidence working with families and partners
  • Deep knowledge of SEND law and guidance
  • Outstanding communication and leadership capability
  • Resilience, compassion and a commitment to Knowsley’s Better Together values
