Teaching Assistant (Level 2) x 2 term time permanent positions from 1/6/2026

Crosby High School is a 175-place secondary special school (ages 11–16) for pupils with moderate learning difficulties, complex learning needs, and physical disabilities. We are seeking to appoint two dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants (Level 2) to join our committed and nurturing team.

The ideal candidates will:

• Be committed to working with children with SEND.
• Be committed to working within a team promoting exciting and creative learning.
• Have high expectations for all learners and be a role model for students.
• Be dedicated to the welfare, safeguarding and achievements of every child.
• Be able to inspire, challenge and motivate all students and lead by example.
• Be creative, innovative and have a passion for improvement.
• Have a passion for developing children’s interests and learning.
• Have an understanding of dealing with challenging behaviour.

Experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs is desirable. We are looking to appoint someone with strong communication skills who recognises the role of the TA2 is strongly linked to removing barriers for learning for our pupils. We are looking for those who demonstrate a passion in relation to the education of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
