We are looking to recruit two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants who are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We welcome applications from candidates with experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, whether working within a classroom setting, small intervention groups, or providing individual support. Most importantly, we are seeking caring, patient and adaptable individuals who are committed to helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and emotionally.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, resilience and a positive approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
• The ability to build trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• A genuine passion for inclusion and ensuring every child feels successful and valued.
• Good spoken and written English, supported by qualifications in both English and mathematics.

The successful candidate will:

• Build nurturing, supportive relationships that promote pupils' confidence, self-esteem and emotional wellbeing.
• Support children to develop their communication, social and independence skills.
• Help remove barriers to learning by adapting support to meet individual needs.
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver targeted interventions and personalised support.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.
• Celebrate children's achievements and help them develop the confidence and resilience needed to become independent learners.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8.45a.m to 11.45a.m. This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2027.
