Are you organised, people-focused, and ready to make a real impact in a thriving school environment? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR and Recruitment Assistant to join our friendly Business Support Team. In this part-time, term-time only role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the smooth running of our HR and recruitment operations — helping us find, welcome, and support the incredible staff who make our school thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission while enjoying flexibility, and a supportive, collaborative work environment.

Start date: as soon as possible

Hours: 15 hours/week, term-time only (flexible across 2–3 days, between 08:00–17:00)
Salary: Point 14–20 (£25,694 – £29,363 FTE)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Recruitment Support

  • Assist candidate vetting, interviews, and onboarding
  • Ensure safer recruitment practices and pre-employment checks are completed
  • Coordinate logistics for new hire induction

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and data
  • Support training, wellbeing initiatives, and internal communications
  • Assist with probation reviews, sickness tracking, and return-to-work processes
