Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Allta is a Welsh medium primary school situated in the small town of Ystrad Mynach on the outskirts of Caerphilly Town.
The Governing Body of the school seek to appoint an Administration and Organisation Clerk for this friendly and forward-thinking school.
A reliable, trustworthy and professional person is required for undertaking this demanding but exciting role within a very busy school office.
The school is a happy, friendly community school and the school clerk is very much a part of the staff and central to the school. Efficient organisational skills and the ability to welcome pupils, parents and visitors to our school are essential, along with sound communication skills. The ability to converse and correspond through the medium of Welsh is not essential.
The successful candidate will possess very good communication / interpersonal and ICT skills and be able to respond positively to the highly confidential nature of this post. Previous experience of working in a school environment, knowledge of HR, financial and budgetary control and the use of SIMS and OLAS would be an advantage. The successful applicant must have a flexible attitude, work honestly and positively as part of a team and enjoy the company of children.
