School Business Officer

Speedwell Infant School is a small community and family orientated school. We are looking to recruit a new School Business Officer from September 2026 who can become an integral part of the Speedwell community. The School Business Officer is a highly valued and important member of the team. We are looking for someone who both believes in and can promote our family friendly ethos and values, and be confident to develop this role in the future.

We are seeking someone who:

• Is friendly and approachable with a calm manner

• Has effective interpersonal and communication skills

• Is able to take responsibility, using their own professional judgement and initiative within set guidelines

• Can prioritise their own workload, working to timescales and deadlines

• Has excellent IT skills, which they can apply to different applications and systems

• Wants to be part of a team that works together in a supportive and friendly environment

• Wants to make a positive difference to the children and families in our school
