The Governors wish to appoint a School Business Assistant with professionalism, enthusiasm and compassion to join our friendly and hard-working school team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, working alongside our established School Business Officer and Business Assistant. Full training will be given.

Our ideal candidate would have the ability to increase hours and pay grade and step up in the future if required. The post would be best suited to a professional and personable individual who has administration experience and good attention to detail.

This post is initially to work 16.5 hours per week. This will be 8.30am – 3.30pm on Thursday and Friday, plus 8.30am - 12.00pm on an agreed day.

The start date for this appointment will be as soon as the successful candidate is available.

As our new Assistant, you will:

  • Demonstrate excellent IT knowledge and have good communication and organisational skills.
  • Be able to prioritise and organise workloads under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate and fulfil reception duties by various methods of communication in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Be an excellent team player with a willingness to be an integral part of the school community.
  • Have the ability to develop relationships and communicate with all school stakeholders, in a happy and positive manner.
  • Be able to prioritise and organise routine statutory tasks and one-off projects/events.
  • Be committed to our policies on keeping children safe from harm.
