Summerhill Primary is currently a one form entry school which is due to be expanded. We aim to provide a caring and stimulating environment where high expectations and effective teaching raise

Job Requirements
The Headteacher and Governing Body of Summerhill Primary School are seeking to appoint a self-
motivated and enthusiastic part-time Administrator who demonstrates excellent communication
and organisational skills, has a positive ethos and is committed to improving the learning
outcomes for all our pupils.
Post: Administrator Level 2
Contract type: Fixed term for 1 year pending a funding review (September 2025 – August 2026)
Hours: Part time 20 hours per week (8:15 am – 12:15 pm), term time only
Grade: Grade C point 3-4
Salary: £24,027 - £24,404 pro rata (£12.79 -13.00 per hour)
Starting date: 1 September 2025
The successful candidate will be required to:
* Provide administrative support to ensure the school delivers effective and efficient services
* Collate registers and monitor attendance
* Act as front of house welcoming visitors and communicating with pupils, staff and parents
* Provide administrative support for the Headteacher and Senior Leadership team
* Maintain the school’s management information systems.
* Assist in the completion of local authority and DfE returns

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of
Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be
confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
