    The Role:

    • We currently have part time positions in our short breaks service for children with physical disabilities and complex health needs and our mainstream children’s home caring for children who require emotional support due to their adverse life experiences. Both homes are rated GOOD by Ofsted. You will be working as part of a team to create a warm, nurturing environment where children and young people feel safe and cared for
    • As a residential support worker you will be required to contribute to the day-to-day functioning of the home so that the children and young people’s needs are met, including support around education, social development, health and well-being
    • As a residential support worker you will be motivated around developing meaningful relationships with children and young people and provide them with the opportunities to have positive experiences
    • As a residential support worker you will be required to help children and young people to grow and develop
    • As a residential support worker you will be required to follow policies and procedures and work with families and partner agencies to safeguard and support children and young people
