This setting provides residential overnight short breaks for children and young people with learning disabilities, complex health needs, Autism, ADHD and behaviours that may challenge. The home works in partnership with other short break providers and professional agencies to meet each child’s assessed needs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Residential Childcare Practitioner who can meet the physical and emotional demands of the role. The successful applicant will be flexible in supporting the team and responsive to the individual needs of the children and young people.

Applicants should have experience working in a residential setting and supporting children, young people and/or adults with complex disabilities and health needs.

This role operates on a rota basis, including evening and weekend working. The post holder will work collaboratively within the team and share our commitment to provide the highest quality of care to children and young people.  They will uphold the safeguarding, education, health and wellbeing of children and young people to support positive outcomes.
