As our Repairs and Voids Manager, you’ll be leading and managing our large Property Repairs Team, being responsible for the maintenance of theCouncil’s social housing stock and leased properties, keeping them in a state of compliance within all statutory and regulatory requirements.
You’ll be ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, to a high standard and in line with Health and Safety Regulations through managing a team of skilled tradespeople, coordinating with external contractors, and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders.

About you
You’ll need to have strong experience of leading a Repairs and Maintenance Service within Social Housing leading a large multi-discipline workforce including field-based staff.
A strategic thinker, you’ll have demonstrable experience of ‘on the ground’ delivery with process and design improvement skills and a strong commercial acumen with experience of budget planning and management.
You’ll have experience of successfully leading change in a team and driving service through performance management and improvements.
