Scale 6 : £33,106 - £34,744 per annum
The Role:
Three Rivers District Council is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to undertake the role of a support Officer in the Regulatory Services section of the Council. This service area is responsible for administering the regulation of both residential and commercial premises in the district including work in areas such as planning, licensing and land and property information. The successful candidate would predominantly assist with the Land and Property Information Team and Licensing Team, with work including:
Local land charges, street naming & numbering, Section 106 monitoring, Local land & Property Gazetteer (LLPG), Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Assets of Community Value, licensing, pre-application advice, determination of applications, administration of licences, support of policy reviews and monitoring and enforcement with additional work to support the wider service as required.
The role is varied and the candidate should possess an enthusiasm and ability to work across different areas and have a keen interest in supporting our residents and businesses. Whilst knowledge of the service area is desirable full training will be given. The successful applicant should be able to clearly collate information and relay information to a range of customers with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The role has a number of competing priorities, so any candidate needs to be confident in managing their own workload and being able to prioritise work to ensure a high-quality level of service provision.
Access to your own transport is essential for site visits and the role will include some out of hours working.
