We’re looking for enthusiastic Registration Officers to deliver exceptional ceremonies across Staffordshire. In this role, you’ll:

- Travel across beautiful Staffordshire locations – no two days are the same.
- Bring professionalism and care – ensuring every ceremony meets legal requirements and exceeds expectations.
You’ll need excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt sensitively to the needs of the public. Above all, you’ll take pride in delivering a high-quality service that makes every ceremony truly memorable.
As a Registration Officer, you will:
- Conduct and register marriage and civil partnership ceremonies in line with legal requirements.
- Conduct Citizenship Ceremonies in line with legal requirements
- Conduct discretionary ceremonies such as vow renewal and naming ceremonies.
- Provide a professional, high-quality service that ensures every ceremony is memorable.
- Work across a range of beautiful venues throughout Staffordshire.
- Handle all legal documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Offer sensitive, supportive guidance to couples and their guests.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a legal framework.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Confidence in public speaking
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
Video shortlisting will take place during week commencing 19 January 2026 for a period of two weeks.
Interviews will be held week commencing Monday 2 February 2026.
