Are you a visionary leader with a passion for transforming education for children and young people? Kedleston Group is seeking an exceptional Regional Director – Education to lead and inspire excellence across our network of specialist independent schools for children with special educational needs including autism spectrum conditions and social, emotional and mental health needs.
About the Role
As Regional Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving high standards across multiple schools, ensuring outstanding outcomes for pupils with autism spectrum conditions and associated emotional and mental health needs. You will lead with integrity, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide strategic leadership across a group of specialist schools.
· Drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning, curriculum, and pastoral care.
· Support and challenge school leaders to deliver exceptional educational outcomes.
· Lead professional development and coaching for senior staff.
· Collaborate with education and therapeutic teams to shape a relevant and impactful curriculum.
· Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including parents/carers, governors, and external partners.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who:
· Is qualified to degree level and holds QTS (or equivalent) and preferably holds NPQH.
· Has substantial leadership experience in SEN settings, across multiple schools and geographical areas.
· Demonstrates a track record of raising academic standards.
· Possesses deep knowledge of SEND education and curriculum development.
· Is a skilled communicator and motivator, with the ability to lead change and inspire teams.
· Has a strong understanding of national education policy and safeguarding.

Salary range
- £100,000 - £200,000 per year
