Full time – 37 hours per week
Scale 5 (SCP12 - 17) £28,598 - £31,022 per annum

Rochford is a mix of urban and rural and London Southend Airport sits within its boundaries.
We are currently operating a hybrid model of working, which enables our employees to work smarter, focusing on the importance of physical connections to meet the needs of those we provide services for, whilst balancing that with the ability to work remotely. Our employees are provided with the resources to be able to work in this way effectively and are provided with a laptop to do so. This role will be mix of working from Rochford District Council’s offices at The Launchpad - Airport Business Park and home working.

The job role
We are looking for an experienced Recovery Officer to join our team dealing with the recovery of Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Sundry Debts.
The successful candidate will be dealing with customers, making and monitoring payment arrangements. You will also be responding to general correspondence.
We are looking for someone who can work under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities. You must have a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
You will need to be a confident outgoing individual with excellent organisation and IT skills.
