The Programmes and Projects Team provide support to the Council’s key Programmes and Projects.
We are looking for an experienced Project Officer to work alongside services in ensuring that they meet the objectives and priorities of the Council.
Your role will include:
Monitoring and co-ordination of programmes/projects, supporting specific tasks and pieces of work, stakeholder engagement and consultation as well as the use of project management methodology.
Experience required includes:
- Previous direct project management experience or extensive experience of working in a project or programme environment
- Demonstrated responsibility for leading specific pieces of work.
- Identifying key stakeholders and developing the appropriate plans.
- Planning, scheduling and managing change.
- Risk and issue management.
- Monitoring performance
- Working accurately and with minimal or no supervision.
- Prioritising competing demands and working under pressure

Salary range
- £38,626 - £40,476 per year
