We are now seeking to appoint two enthusiastic Progress Mentors who will join a successful team. The persons appointed will provide support for pupils' learning and, as importantly, the wider pastoral needs of pupils throughout the school under the guidance of the SENCO and Inclusion Manager. The role will include in-class, small group and one-to-one support, and an ability to work with pupils and teachers is essential. Experience of working with children in a supportive capacity is highly desirable, with the role centred on learning support, but with care and support of an individual at its heart.
Pensby High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants for this post must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including reference checks with previous employers and an enhanced criminal record check.
All applicants will be considered on the basis of suitability for the post regardless of sex, race or disability.
