Are you passionate about driving positive change at a neighbourhood level and want to work on a high-profile community-focused regeneration programme?

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-orientated Programme Manager to help deliver the Cherrywood Pride in Place Programme.

You’ll play a key role inensuring strong governance, effective reporting, clear communication and smooth coordination across a portfolio of projects. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with residents, community partners and stakeholders.

About the Role

These are exciting times for Cherrywood. It will receive £20 million of investment over the next 10 years. Working closely with the Neighbourhood Chair, you will:

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive Pride in Place programme aligned with Cherrywood’s vision and objectives.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board by providing high-quality secretariat support
  • Work with the Community Engagement officer to help plan and deliver community engagement events and activities
  • Support the council’s requirements as the Accountable Body for the funding
  • Track project delivery, monitor grant expenditure, and support risk and issue management
  • Prepare documentation for grant claims and audits
  • Support programme communication

About You

We are looking for someone who is energetic, collaborative and highly organised, with a genuine passion for creating successful places and communities.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in placemaking, regeneration, community engagement, town centre management or programme delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building skills.
  • Experience delivering community-focused projects or events.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience providing secretariat support
