The London Borough of Hackney is looking for a Programme Manager to join our Climate, Homes and Economy Directorate, within the Employment, Skills and Adult Learning service.
This role is crucial for the successful delivery and compliance of Connect to Work DWP funded programmes. You will establish and maintain robust programme management systems, ensuring adherence to CLF, DWP, and audit requirements, and managing all risks associated with grant-funded initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement a robust compliance framework for grant-funded programmes.
- Lead the development and maintenance of performance management, monitoring, and reporting frameworks.
- Oversee effective programme management, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of grant-funded programmes, particularly Connect to Work.
- Conduct monitoring, verification, and assurance visits to ensure programme compliance, value for money, and alignment with Council priorities.
We are looking for someone with:
- A proven track record of leadership in managing large-scale, complex grant-funded programmes with multiple partners, specifically with experience in compliance for DWP-funded initiatives like Connect to Work.
- Demonstrable experience in performance management, developing challenging outcomes, and negotiating goal
- Expertise in developing and sustaining successful partnerships across public and private sectors.
- Highly organised programme management skills, including meticulous management of delivery and financial programmes.
