The Role:
The role of Housing Service Support Officer will provide vital administrative and customer service support across the Housing Directorate, ensuring the smooth operation of services such as Private Sector Housing, Housing Solutions, and Our Liverpool
Delivery of the Service Support Officer will be high-quality support functions will include managing service inboxes, triaging complaints and referrals, coordinating FOI responses, supporting enforcement actions, and maintaining accurate records and systems
In the role of Housing Service Support Officer, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of administrative tasks, from arranging meetings and travel to supporting recruitment processes and managing service escalations. You will also play a key part in ensuring compliance with financial procedures and health and safety standards
The role of Housing Service Support Officer is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and has a strong commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
Your demonstrable knowledge as a Support Officer business support professional—particularly in housing or customer service settings—will be essential. You should have experience using case management systems, handling referrals, and delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders
The role of Service Support Officer requires excellent ICT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, along with empathy and resilience when dealing with vulnerable individuals, is also essential
