Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.

We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the city.

Two exciting opportunities have arisen for Project Officers to join our Private Sector Housing Team.

These roles will play a pivotal part in delivering a wide range of projects and programmes that support the service’s strategic priorities.

The successful postholders will lead and support projects within property licensing, and housing enforcement. In addition, you will play a vital role in supporting projects linked to the Renters’ Rights Act, helping the service implement new duties, strengthen compliance activities, and ensure landlords, tenants, and community partners are fully informed of their rights and responsibilities under the evolving regulatory landscape.

These posts offer an excellent opportunity to contribute to improving housing standards, strengthening regulatory outcomes, and driving positive change for residents across the borough
