Knowsley's Growth Agenda continues to deliver, and the Council’s Planning Service is a friendly and supportive environment to work. We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual, who works well within a team and possesses good communications skills to join the Planning Policy Team.

As a Principal Planning Policy Officer you will support in all aspects of the work within the team, utilising your advanced professional skills to aid the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of the Council's Local Plan by managing a complex and varied workload.

At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working. For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time. There is a requirement for you to attend your work base at least two days per week (namely Thursday and Friday).
