Our Team:
The Property Services Operational Division consists of 3 main teams, the Capital Works Team, the Technical Support team and the Facilities Management team. The Facilities Management team includes both the Caretaking and Cleaning services.
The FM Team’s main function is to ensure that the corporate properties are well maintained, fit for purpose and meet the needs and expectations of Members, staff and the public alike and help the Council deliver its Corporate priorities as set out in the Corporate Plan 2024-29.
The FM team’s main base is the Municipal Building in Widnes, we work on a hybrid basis, being office based for a minimum of 2 days per week.
Your Contributions:
You will ensure that all Facilities Management services provided complement the strategic aims and objectives of the Council, particularly the Economy, Enterprise and Property Department.
You will ensure that the Council’s corporate property portfolio is well maintained, fit for purpose, complies with statutory requirements and meets the needs of staff and public alike.
You will ensure that the Council obtains best value with regards the purchase of goods and services associated with the functions of the Facilities Management teams, and to ensure that the service is delivered within the available budget.
37 hours per week.

Salary range
- £39,152 - £41,771 per year
