Principal Ecologist

Uttlesford District Council is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Principal Ecologist to play a leading role in delivering our strengthened biodiversity duty and shaping sustainable growth across the district. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary service spanning planning, design, conservation, economic development and climate change, where biodiversity is embedded at the heart of decision-making.

You will help drive the Council’s strategic commitment to conserving and enhancing biodiversity and contributing to the delivery of our ambitious five-year action plan to 2030, ensuring measurable improvements for habitats and species across Uttlesford.
