About you…

You are a motivated Building Control professional with solid experience across residential and commercial projects. Proactive and customer-focused, you are ready to help shape a service that keeps pace with industry change. You bring flexibility, clear communication and a practical, hands-on approach to everything you do.

Ideally, you have already operated at Principal or Team Leader level, but if you are a Senior or Area Surveyor looking to step up into leadership, we would love to hear from you.

About the team…

We are a supportive and enthusiastic Building Control team based in Bracknell Forest, Berkshire. Our work covers a diverse mix of residential, commercial and industrial developments, from major town centre regeneration and healthcare projects to large-scale housing. We pride ourselves on being approachable, responsive and committed to ensuring buildings are safe, accessible and energy efficient. With a focus on customer service and onsite presence, we work closely with developers and residents to deliver high-quality outcomes for our community.

Key responsibilities…

  • Deputising for the Head of Building Control when required.
  • Supervision and day-to-day management of other team members and caseloads.
  • Undertaking Plan Checking and Site Inspections as necessary
  • Maintaining and developing professional competence in accordance with the Registered Building Inspector Code of Conduct
  • Continuously reviewing service-related systems and procedures and implement, where necessary, revisions to meet the latest changes in policies and legal requirements.
