The Governors of St Luke’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a Premises Officer. We are offering 27.5 hours per week over a split shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 9.45am and 2:45pm to 6pm. Friday 7.30am to 9.45am and 2.15pm to 5.30pm (some flexibility required regarding hours). Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with a consideration for maintenance requirements to be carried out over the summer break; therefore the majority of the annual leave will be taken during school holidays.

We are looking for a competent, organised and energetic person to join our happy school team. Experience of premises management is not essential. However, maintenance, trade skills and knowledge of health and safety regulations would be beneficial. Main duties will include the security and safety of school premises, compliance and data recording and maintenance of interior and exterior fixtures and fittings within the school site.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate enthusiasm, care and commitment to the ethos of our school. Communication with external agencies and school staff is essential. They will deliver quality site management, contribute to the effective running of school and liaise with staff within the busy environment.
