The Change team within Strategy & Communities leads a cross-council portfolio of transformation programmes focused on improving services, redesigning processes and delivering savings.

The team brings together programme management, delivery management, service design, business analysis and PMO capability to support the effective delivery of this work.

What You'll Be Doing

We are seeking a PMO Lead to oversee programme governance, reporting and assurance across the change portfolio.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate Programme Management Office activity to deliver the change portfolio.
  • Maintain programme governance, reporting and assurance processes.
  • Provide oversight of programme and project performance.
  • Support portfolio planning and prioritisation.
  • Ensure consistent programme and project management standards.
  • Provide delivery insight to senior leadership.
  • Identify risks and issues across the portfolio and support mitigation.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Significant experience working in PMO or portfolio management environments.
  • Strong knowledge of programme governance and assurance.
  • Experience supporting complex transformation portfolios.
  • The ability to analyse programme information and provide clear insight.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
