This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting our children before and after the school day in both our Breakfast Club and After School Club. To start April 2026 (to be confirmed).

We are looking for someone who can help create a safe, nurturing and enjoyable environment, where children can play, relax, build relationships and develop new skills. If you enjoy working with children of all ages, have a positive and flexible approach, and love being part of a lively, inclusive school community, we would love to hear from you.

  • Prepare and serve simple breakfasts and snacks.
  • Promote positive behaviour, cooperation and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ensure children are safe at all times, following safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Set up and tidy away resources, ensuring a clean, organised and inviting space.
  • Build warm, supportive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • Uphold the school’s ethos: Nurture, Ignite, Shine.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children and helping them grow in confidence and independence.
  • Is warm, patient, energetic and approachable.
  • Works well as part of a small, committed team.
  • Is reliable, organised and able to use their initiative.
  • Communicates clearly and positively with children and adults.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and wellbeing.
  • Has experience in childcare, playwork, education or a similar setting.
  • Holds a relevant childcare or playwork qualification.
