In order to strengthen our Development Management Team we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Planning Technical Support Officer to support the delivery of an efficient and effective Planning Service.
This role involves the initial processing and validating of planning applications, operating the Council’s electronic document management and back office computer systems, advising members of the public on Planning related matters and general administrative duties as required. Whilst some knowledge of Planning would be desirable, full training will be provided.
Ideally you will have experience in planning,you should have good communication and IT skills, good interpersonal skills, good organisational skills and be flexible in your approach to completing tasks.
