Your role will also include:
- Managing and maintaining accurate data on CIL and S106 contributions and payments
- Working with stakeholders, elected members and community groups
- Reviewing potential breaches of CIL and S106 regulations and helping to ensure compliance
- Identifying and recording any wider planning control issues
You’ll be based in our modern offices in Horsham town centre, working as part of a supportive, knowledgeable and collaborative team. Once settled in there will be opportunities for some home working.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical knowledge and a collaborative approach.
To succeed as a Planning Obligations Officer, you will have:
- A good understanding of the Community Infrastructure Levy, Section 106 agreements and relevant regulations
- Experience of working with CIL and/or S106 agreements in a planning or related environment
- Strong numerical and data management skills, with confidence in carrying out detailed calculations accurately
- Experience of using databases and IT systems to manage information
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage detailed work, even in a busy environment
You will be someone who enjoys working with others, communicates clearly, and takes pride in delivering good outcomes for the community.
