Job Title: Performance & Projects Team Leader (OneTeam role)

Housing Options Team

Full Time: 37 hours per week - 2 year fixed term contract

Salary: Band 8 (£39,862 - £44,075)

(Starting salary dependent upon skills and qualifications, progression subject to satisfactory performance)

This role is primarily office based - 2 days per week at Brentwood Office, 2 days per week at Rochford Office

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Performance & Projects Team Leader exciting opportunity to lead and deliver specialist projects that make a real difference in our communities.

In this role, you will oversee and deliver key projects, including commissioned services and targeted initiatives addressing domestic abuse, single-person homelessness and rough sleeping.

Drive excellence within the homelessness service by implementing robust performance frameworks and reporting mechanisms. Monitor service delivery, evaluate impact, and champion improvement through data-driven insights.

You will also need to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in project management and performance monitoring
  • Knowledge or experience in the field of homelessness
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable improvements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage stakeholders and inspire teams.
  • Knowledge of housing & homelessness policy, procedures, and legislation.
  • A valid driving license and access to a car
  • A Basic DBS
