
Performance Data Assistant
The Opportunity
Salary: £26,403 to £26,824 per annum for 37 hours per week (Pro rata for hours less than this)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full time - 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday. There is potential for flexibility in working hours and should you wish to be considered for part time hours, please indicate this within your cover letter and the hours you could work.
Location: Based at County Hall, Chichester with hybrid working available - 2 days a week minimum in the office.

The Business Assurance Group within Highways, Transport and Planning (HTP) are currently recruiting to this exciting new role of a Performance Data Assistant. This role sits within the Performance and Data team, and their primary responsibility is to provide performance data and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to all relevant stakeholders. This in turn allows the team to understand and improve performance across the directorate.
In this role, you will be assisting in the collating and reporting of information for corporate, directorate and service measures against contracts. You will provide insight and commentary, alongside KPIs and management information. You will also need to be able to build relationships with a range of stakeholders and maintain these.
Some of the experience and key skills required to be successful in the role include:
- Previous experience of delivering an effective, efficient service to a range of customers.
- Good analytical, literacy and numeracy skills to interpret complex information and produce high quality reports.
- Sound and accurate IT skills including Microsoft packages and other relevant systems to enable you to carry out research, analyse and present data.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational and presentation skills.
- Problem solving skills that enable you to analyse and identify suitable solutions from the information available.
