About the role
This is rare opportunity to join the systems team within the West Northamptonshire Council Pensions Service, responsible for the administration and management of the Cambridgeshire Pension Fund and Northamptonshire Pension Fund, worth in excess of a combined £8bn.
The role reports directly into Systems and Projects Manager and is responsible for maintenance of the Funds’ pensions administration system, management information reporting and cyclical/ad hoc projects and processes.
The LGPS landscape is evolving at a fast pace, and this role is critical is helping the Funds navigate a pathway through this change.
Additional information
We are looking for someone who thrives in a highly challenging environment with problem solving and analytical skills. The ability to analyse large data sets and identify inconsistencies is a key skill for this role. Advanced MS Office skills, including expert level skills in using MS Excel functionality, are essential. In order to be successful, you will be an excellent communicator and will be able to work with others and partner at a senior level.
You will have excellent planning and organisational skills as this role is responsible for a wide range of activities that have competing timelines and resource pressures.
