Job Title: PE Teacher 0.8 FTE
Salary: £32,916 - £45,352 pro rata per annum
Hours: 0.8 FTE 4 days per week (26hrs per week)

We are looking for a part-time 0.8 PE Teacher in KS2 for 4 days per week on a permanent contract. Ideally the candidate would be able to start in September 2026, however we are willing to wait until January 2027 for the right candidate.
Salary: Main Scale, depending on experience.
The successful candidate should be, or aspire to be, an outstanding PE teacher. We are looking for someone with:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience of teaching PE in a school setting
- Ability to lead PE across the school
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
- A good understanding of how children learn
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
- Ability to implement effective intervention strategies and to target children’s learning
- Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
- Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
We are looking for an effective and enthusiastic teacher who will be able to complement our dedicated and hardworking staff team. The role is not suitable for an ECT.

Part of the role will involve the teaching of another subject for half a day per week to cover the Assistant Headteacher's class. It will also involve running after school PE clubs.
