Our Team:
Environment Services plays a vital role in delivering a wide range of essential council functions. From keeping our streets clean and managing refuse collections, to maintaining our award-winning parks and open spaces, we take pride in caring for the local environment. As custodians of these cherished public assets, we are committed to continually improving the quality and sustainability of the services we provide, ensuring our communities can enjoy a cleaner, greener, and more welcoming place to live.


Hours: 37 per week


Your Contributions:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within parks and open spaces, as well as in public realm or service environments. They should be able to demonstrate competence in using mechanised arboricultural tools. A full UK driving licence is essential, with the required categories including B+E, C, C+E, D1E, C1, and C1+E. Candidates must undergo HAVs medical screening and be free from related symptoms. A uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times while in the workplace. The postholder will be required to work one weekend in every four as part of their standard shift pattern and must be prepared to work from any Council depot as operational needs require.
