The Post

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to deliver the Parents as First Teachers intervention as part of the Family Hubs and Start for Life offer.

As the successful candidate, you will support the implementation of the Parents as First Teachers intervention by delivering a home base education and support package as well as delivering parenting activities in a group setting.

You will also contribute to the evaluation and effectiveness of the programme, and evidencing the sustained impact for parents.

You will work closely with the parenting coordinator, Family Wellbeing Centres, health colleagues, schools, and other partners to respond to the diverse needs of families.

The Person

You will be passionate about supporting babies, children and their parents, and will posses sound knowledge and experience of child development, particularly in the earliest years. You will be confident, creative and motivating and have a keen interest in supporting and educating parents and their children.
