We are seeking to appoint a Parenting Practitioner (FSW's) with knowledge and experience of delivering evidenced based parenting programme to be part of our experienced group work team, delivering evidenced based, accredited parenting programmes across the borough. We are looking for someone with excellent facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills, as well as the ability to evaluate the impact of learning interventions. This is an essential frontline service meeting the needs of children, young people, and families. You will need to be motivated, innovative, and willing to work with a range partner agencies, children, and families from diverse backgrounds.
We are proud that our Redbridge Children and Families Service was recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for the second time and is now taking forward the DfE’s Families First for Children Pathfinder Programme. Joining us will give you the opportunity to participate in the continuous development of a multi-agency service that is innovative and creative and constantly improving services to meet the needs of its residents and vulnerable families and children. You will receive supportive management and access to quality learning, development, and research materials.
You will need to understand safeguarding processes and be able to work with parents/carers who may have mental ill health, substance misuse, domestic violence, learning disabilities and other factors that could impede on effective parenting.
This would be an ideal opportunity for a suitably experienced individual who has experience of adult learning facilitation, assessment, child development, family support, and report writing.

Salary range
- £35,520 - £36,585 per year
