
PA to Executive Head
Job introduction
Hove Learning Federation is comprised of West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School, serving over 1,000 children on our 3 sites – School Road, Portland Road and Holland Road.
The role is primarily based at our Portland Road/School Road sites but may require some flexibility in working at our Holland Road site. Working days required are Monday to Thursday.
Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive PA support to the Executive Headteacher, including diary management and meeting coordination.
- Act as the first point of contact for all internal and external enquiries to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Support the School Business Manager with HR recruitment and onboarding processes
- Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Organise and minute meetings as required.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Liaise with staff, governors, parents, and all external stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise competing deadlines.
- Discreet, diplomatic, and trustworthy with confidential information.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Experienced in a PA or senior administrative role (experience in a school setting is desirable).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using IT systems.
