    We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Operations Manager to lead the delivery of an efficient and effective domestic waste collection service. This is a key leadership role where you will shape and implement our service operating model, working collaboratively with stakeholders to modernise and continuously improve front-line services.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead and inspire operational teams to deliver safe, customer-focused, and high-performing services.
    • Embed core operating principles into day-to-day practice while maintaining flexibility to respond to emerging priorities using a risk-based approach.
    • Drive performance improvement and value for money, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
    • Champion continuous improvement and innovation across the service, ensuring agility and responsiveness to changing needs.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Proven experience managing front-line or logistics-based services.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage change effectively.
    • A track record of challenging performance and delivering results in a customer-focused environment.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong partnerships and manage stakeholder expectations.
