Actual Salary: £19,737.97 per annum, FTE £25,583 (pay award pending)
We have a vacancy to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic School Office Administrator to join our friendly staff team at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.
The hours of work are:
Part-time 32.5 hrs per week, Term Time Only + 5 teacher education days, Permanent Contract
8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday (6.5hrs per day with 0.5hr unpaid lunch break)
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of all children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The office administrator is responsible for overseeing the administrative and organisational processes within the school, and supporting with specific administration for finance, HR and Healy and Safety. They will also act as the initial point of contact for parents, visitors and other stakeholders so will be an ambassador for the school and embody the values, vision and ethos of the school in all interactions.
Under the supervision of the headteacher, they will undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties.
The successful candidate will be reliable and organised and must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information.
Previous experience of working with children and a first aid qualification would be an advantage though not essential.

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
