    We are delighted to be able to offer 2 committed and dynamic experienced Occupational Therapists the opportunity to join our Community Children's Occupational Therapy London Borough of Redbridge SEND therapies service.

    Redbridge Education, Access and Inclusion Services have exceptional specialist support services delivering to a wide range of schools and education settings.

    We expanded this central service in September 2021 to include a dedicated school focused Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy service.

    The service works with children in both mainstream and special schools to provide interventions and support for children to improve their ability to engage in education along with developing skills to support independence and optimal function. The post holder will have the opportunity to work with children who have a wide variety of physical and learning needs including Autistic spectrum disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Global Developmental Delay. This will include, assessing functional need, developing and modelling intervention plans and evaluating progress.

    Our aim is to provide training and advice to schools, giving teachers and staff the tools to develop each child as an individual using an inclusive and functional approach to learning.

    We work in close partnership with colleagues in health, education, and social care to provide a high-quality service. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team, ideally who has previous experience working with children.
